5L31-PN1R a.k.a. "Sleipnir" is a Melee Type Type Frame Girl produced by Wonder Toys. She is noted for having a design ahead of her time, and becoming the unofficial flagship for nanopolymer technology in Frame Girls.
Sleipnir is the model of Frame that was used by Sadie's former Frame Girl, Ophelia.
Sleipnir is considered by Frame hobbyists to be the end of the beginning of the hobby. Sleipnir was one of the first Frame Girl models to fully utilize the then-unproven nanopolymer technology as the primary locomotive force within the body, allowing for a slimmer, smaller Frame Girl that could produce as much or more force than the earlier servomotor designs or servomotor/nanopoly hybrids, such as Sgt. Sledge, while maintaining a slim, cute design. In addition, she was also the first Frame Girl capable of flight, albeit in short bursts from thruster pods mounted to her hips. Unusually refined design and quality control made her a force to be reckoned with, and at $380USD she was considered a steal for the performance she offered; numerous WebTube comparison videos proved that she offered capabilities equivalent to thousand dollar frames today.
Sleipnir was incredibly popular and won several Grand Prixes, until her production was mysteriously ceased in 20XX by Wonder Toys' incumbent CEO, Analise St. Cross. Competitive use of Sleipnir has tapered off, and material limitations of their aging bodies and old parts means most have been retired, abandoned, or rebodied in the current day.
Appearance
Sleipnir stood at 19 centimetres or 7½ inches, and had a sleek, fully robotic appearance. Her head was molded in the shape of a human face missing a mouth, with two featureless eyes resembling lenses. Her 'helmet' featured two small ailerons on each side, as well as a large solid ponytail which functioned as a steering rudder when in flight. She had two small thrusters attached to the sides of her hips, and carried a large scythe approximately as tall as her body, which was also powered by a larger thruster.
Strategy
Sleipnir fought with a scythe that utilized high frequency vibration that allowed the curved blade to cut regardless of the angle it struck at, offsetting the weaknesses of a scythe's blade angle for combat, which gave her the nickname Grim Reaper, due to the lethality of the weapon and its distinctive appearance.
