PY-XX-PYR "Pyra" is a Cast Type Frame Girl produced by Pyroferret Productions.
Pyroferret Productions PYR Model is meant to serve as the flagship of the Second Generation Frame Girls out of the outfit. As the flagship, she is based on the Pyroferret from the company's logo and is designated "Pyra". "Pyra" is also the first proper Caster frame from the company. Her physical design emphasizes mobility and agility, living up to prototype documents referring to a "Dancer" concept. Her proportions emphasize long limbs - even with her height being slightly shorter than the Sable model - and graceful movements. Movements which she utilizes in concert with a purely Fire-aligned magical arsenal.
Appearance
Given her lack of projectile armaments and her refined agility, the Pyra is considered a very lightweight design for her size. She carries no additional armor plating other than the elements bonded to her parts directly, and she tends to wear flowing dresses with a variety of ribbons, bells, and tassels to further distract her opponent's eyes. While she has the nails of her sister frames, Pyra also is the sole model from Pyroferret Productions with human-normal analogue hands and feet. Pyra's default hair is a loose, double-length ombre reminiscent of natural fire, and she lacks the normal fur lining as she lacks armor. In light of this, Pyra's are given a charm necklace as a default accessory which includes a tuft of fur matching her hair coloration hues. (The fur of this charm is automatically updated on custom color orders to match the hair.)
Strategy
As a Caster frame, the Pyra is focused around the concept of pyrokinesis as applied to framegirl capabilities. While she shares some common ground with the Victoria Frame given Fire elemental overlap, her fighting style and sweet spot do differ. In addition to baseline buff magic, Pyra takes a trickster approach mixing field hazards and heat haze mirage tactics. She marries these magical skills to a unique weapon choice - though she is notably capable of hand-to-hand with the typical Pyroferret 'nails'. Her preferred weapon is actually a 'soft' weapon, as she dances along the battlefield wielding a meteor hammer. Pyra models do show individuality in using single or dual weighted meteor hammers, and they wear their weapon in plain sight as an ornate sash when not in combat.
Regardless of individuality, what this 'soft' weapon permits best is further trickster antics in combat. Spacing control is one such technique, as is redirection and restraint of opposing melee attackers. While less outright offensive compared to a Victoria, this arguably makes a Pyra far more dangerous an opponent when trained (or piloted) correctly.
Customization
Pyroferret Productions encourages individual customization of the Pyra frame and offers an extensive array of plating, wig, and contact options for customer preferred color palettes. Unlike other models, Pyroferret Productions makes each Pyra frame as a Custom Order from the outset, and thus will only be available via Direct Order. To assist with this caveat, all LGS locations that sell Pyroferret products will be given an order assistance kit. While direct orders are not yet open for the Pyra frame, they are eagerly expected to become available in Q3. Alternative Packages for the Pyra frame may explore alternative elemental kits, though Hadin Ganavi warns that these alternate options may be spun into wholly different models instead. Pyra, the Pyroferret, is expected to be released commercially late in Q3; with advanced production units already beginning to appear in competitions throughout the Eastern regions piloted by invitation from both Talo and Conan Ganavi.
Personality
Trivia
- Pyra was designed by Ronin and drawn by Bob.
- Pyra is the first official Frame girl designed and produced solely by Lead Designer Hadin Ganavi himself, making it unique among Pyroferret Productions to date. When reached for comment, Hadin had this to say: "M'boys listen to me and care what I have to say. They also care about my physical health enough to have made the Melanie line specifically to assist myself and others. But it's time to show them that the old man still has plenty of tricks to share."
