Gyaru-TA "GAL-TA" (also known as Gal-chi) is a ??? Type Frame Girl produced by HachiDoll.
GAL-TA is a total conversion kit intended to be fully altered and customized by its owner. They are characterized by an extreme level of compatibility with parts made by other manufacturers, and individual models can be made almost unrecognizable in their choice of alterations.
Gal-TA models are sold exclusively as Blank Frames, meaning they do not contain a CCU.
Appearance
Gal-TAs default appearance bears a resemblance to Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls, with heavily simplified cartoonish facial features. They possess a slim physique with a tapered waist. Their face, chest, forearms, and crotch are a pale flesh colour, whereas their stomach, legs, neck, and upper arms are a mixture of dull grey and gunmetal. They have fully articulate hands with ten fingers, and thin legs that taper down into points instead of feet.
Controversy
HachiDoll have been accused of not using their own robotics for the internals of GAL-TA's and their mods and instead salvaging older bodies, but enthusiasts who have bought GAL-TA Frames and dissected it for proof have only found that the technology within bears branding from a third-party Chinese manufacturer, which was kind of not the kind of paydirt that "HACHIDOLL CANNIBALIZES FRAMEGIRLS" truthers were looking for.
