PY-1132-MN "Melanie" is a ??? Type Frame Girl produced by Pyroferret Productions.

Pyroferret Productions MLN Model, internally called "Melinae" but colloquially dubbed "Melanie", is not a typical combat Battleframe Girl design. Instead, the MLN Model is offered as a Frame Assistant, marketed primarily to assist "handy capable" fans of the hobby to be more able to participate. Melanie is meant to serve as an additional set of hands and tools to assist in repair, maintenance, and upgrading (or customization) of her sister "Mink" and "Sable" units.

Appearance

Melanie stands strictly at the industry average height, but moves away from the human-industrial vibe of her sisters slightly thanks to her more "standard" hands. The Melanie's hands are a full five-finger construction, with agile thumbs and enhanced joints. Her feet are return to the industrial norm of the producer, with two front pads and a rear stabilizer pad covered with a rubberized surface for enhanced grip. By default, Melanie lacks the armored version of an overcoat and instead is shipped with both a more pedestrian fur-lined coat for comfortable excursions, and an easily washed jumpsuit for maintenance work. The base protective casing is shipped pre-primed but unpainted, with a small selection of paints for the Melanie to create her own designs from.

Melanie features the standard Pyroferret Production features suite of easily replaced wigs and contacts for customization of the head. The base model package comes with long auburn hair in a low ponytail by default and citrine eyes. It is not uncommon for Melanie models to request creative freedom in updating their hairstyles.

Function

As far as triplets go, the Melanie is the absolute wild child of expression while having not a lick of combat aptitude. Normally at least. This technician model from Pyroferret Productions is engineered with exceptional dexterity and a set of swappable tools for the sole purpose of assisting her sisters outside of the battlefield. Melanie has a low power rotary tool system on her left forearm which is capable of utilizing a series of tool heads with varying levels of torque as appropriate. She also features fine dexterity manipulator hands that are fully human-equivalent in design - a departure from Pyroferret Productions typical design methodology. Yet understandably a requirement for an Assistant Frame, even forgoing the carbide-tipped 'nails' of her sisters as a result.

Customization

Pyroferret Productions encourages individual customization of the Melanie frame and offers a free trade system for swapping out wigs and contacts for customer preferred color palettes, assuming the Melanie frame's consent, charging only the shipping fees involved as long as the items are in servicable condition. (Non-mint condition items are often refurbished into their repair and replacement line of parts.) Direct orders with Pyroferret Productions include color palette selection options.

There are currently no conversion kits marketed by Pyroferret Productions for the Melanie line, however there are expanded toolkit options available as special order.

Personality

The Melanie line prefers to self-actualize their personality and match their visual shell accordingly. They do learn from their owners and in most cases will align their personality and fashion sense with styles complimentary to the owner's needs. Which may not always align with your desires. In most cases, they may evoke depressive vibes if they do not have a fellow Battleframe Girl to assist and care for, or are unable to provide sufficient alternative aid for their owner.

Trivia

Melanie was designed by Ronin and drawn by Bob.
