PY-22 "Mink" is a Ranged Type Frame Girl produced by Pyroferret Productions. She was produced to appeal both to the fashionista niche and high-octane competition. Mink is a Ranged Attacker frame favoring the hybrid approach of close range suppression assaults, leveraging lightweight construction and belt-fed weaponry.
Appearance
Mink stands slightly shorter than average, and evokes a human-industrial vibe by mixing soft rounding to her armor plating with last-generation mechanical hands and feet. Shoulder and hip joints are partially exposed, and her limbs are of lithe construction. The Mink has a four-fingered hand, with an agile thumb and trigger finger paired with thicker "power" fingers for a stronger grip against recoil. Her feet are similarly industrial, with two front pads that can dig in with her 'nails' and a rear stabilizer pad. Her armor scheme is traditionally white, with silver fur lining at collar and cuffs. The accessory armor coat for Mink is typically sleeveless - so as to avoid interference with the belt-feed mechanisms - and features arctic camo with similar silver fur lining.
Mink features the standard Pyroferret Production features as well: armor gouging carbide chisel "nails" on both hands and feet in addition to easily replaced wigs and contacts for customization of the head. The base model package comes with long silver hair in a french braid by default, jade eyes, and silver nail polish for the nails.
Strategy
As the lightweight model from Pyroferret Productions, the Mink defies rumors that local industry productions fail to pack a significant punch. The Mink is slightly shorter than the industry average Battleframe Girl in an effort to shave down overall weight. Her base kit favors a backpack ammunition system, making reloads a non-issue, feeding into a pair of "machine pistols". Users are urged to train their Mink to favor burst fire to prevent overheating, despite the nigh-obscene rate of fire the Mink is capable of. Smart positioning is also required as the individual rounds lack outright stopping power - though even the heaviest armor can be degraded over time. Lightweight construction also assists the Mink to be agile, which is a necessity for evasion. Which can be further enhanced by unequipping - or combat jettisoning - the ablative "faux-fur" lined overcoat. Even without that accessory, the Mink isn't quite as fragile as mainline high-speed frames, such as notable competition frame E-128 "EDIE," but the frame is still susceptible to hard hitting ordinance or dedicated Melee frames.
