Wiki:Contributing
Hello, and welcome to the BattleFrame girl wiki. If you ended up on this page, it likely means you wish to contribute to our little project, for which we are endlessly thankful.
Account and who actually runs the place
Do note that all edits to the wiki require an account. As of 2025, the BFG fandom is small and closely knit. We are mostly concentrated on the official discord server (an up to date invite link can be found on the comic website). This does not mean we are some incredibly hard to get into club. In practice, to get an account on the wiki, requires you to be an active and decent person on the discord.
YOU ARE NOT OWED AN ACCOUNT, AND ACTING LIKE YOU ARE WILL GUARANTEE YOU WILL NOT GET ONE!
But really, we are not that bad. Come say hi. Might even make a friend.
The wiki is mostly (but not exclusively) the domain of the following people:
- Selkie, our gracious webmaster. She does not write much on the wiki, but without her there would be no server or domain for you to read the wiki (or the comic for that matter), so she gets to be listed first.
- Meadow, our editor powerhouse. As of August 2025, most of the wiki is her writing.
- Aksu, the guy who knows how mediawiki templates work. He does some writing work too, but mostly handles technical matters.
The above people function as site administrators.

Style guide
General
- Articles are written in omniscient voice and in plain language.
- Articles must be clearly signposted with headers to designate whether they discuss content canon to the webcomic or fan content. Specific guidance on this can be found in Wiki:Contributing/Canon.
- Fan content is further distinguished by whether it is intended to exist within the bounds of canon (fan submitted frame girls, manufacturers, etc.) or explicitly non-canon (characters placed in AU scenarios or absurdist content.)
- First mentions on an article of topics or concepts are linked to their own article when possible. Subsequent mentions do not need to be linked in the same manner.
Specific Guidance
Some pages have specific guidance for them. All documents for such guidance should be listed here.
